Zbigniew Krysiak, PhD, is an associate professor at the Warsaw School of Economics, and 2011 visiting professor of finance at Graziadio School of Business and Management of Pepperdine University. He gained a PhD in economics from Warsaw School of Economics for his research into the application of options and real options in default risk assessment and company valuation and he holds an MBA in Banking and Financial Engineering from University in Toulouse in France. He is the author of more than 70 publications and books concerning finance, risk management, financial engineering, and banking and he serves as a chairman of the council board for the quarterly issued Journal of Property Finance.
